Tributes to Gavin

Vic and Rosemary Exner

In memory of one of oldest and dearest friends, Gavin Reckless. We have travelled a long road together, kayaking, running, cycling, camping etc. We think of the fun we had at the dam most weekends, and having 6 kids and our wives waiting for us at the end of each race. A lot of water has gone under the bridge. You have left us all too soon as you still had so much to do. As a world renowned scientist and researcher, you are going to be sorely missed in your field. You have laid a strong foundation for those brave enough to follow in your footsteps. They will have very large shoes to fill. We have wonderful memories of all the fun times that we all had together and are grateful to Margie and your girls who have been your life foundation and the rock that supported you on the last leg of your race. We know you now have no pain and are at peace. With our love from Vic and Rose
